Like Water
So, I got to visit this Hindu temple (the Hindu Temple of Atlanta). To be honest with you, it’s one of those weird experiences. The only thing that kept me connected was the guady array of lighting (think Christmas lights + aisle lighting) that adorned the various idols seemingly hewn into the temple walls. It’s kind of sad that I’m so far removed from the stuff that those lights are all I could connect to, but, to be honest, parts of the rituals I got the opportunity to witness kind of weird me out. Everyone does it differently, for sure. I think that’s totally cool, but, at the same time, it makes things hard to understand sometimes. I say that, but I mean that it makes it hard for other people (i.e. the ones I’ve had to explain it to) to understand. I personally feel like I have a grasp on it. However, I really wish I had asked our guide to teach me how to dance. *sigh* Missed opportunity.

Hatred
It’s fake. He hates it because it’s fake. It always will be…
(in other news: the google image search “sharon stone” may just be the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen in my life… really!)

Another Older Woman
So, I’m heartbroken. Gwen Stefani is 37. *sob* Why must I always be attracted to older women?
No, but, really, I had no idea she was that old. Kudos to the pseudo-jazz station I listen to for being absolutely and completely commercial. I would never have known without your blatantly superficial approach to radio content.
