So, there was this old joke that Fortune (the lady, like on a tarot card, not that I condone those things, though) totally sleeps with me, since I would get really lucky on certain things. I mean, it’s just a joke, but it was pretty funny when I’d win or get something special all the time. What’d I get this time? She can go to the concert now! Rock on. That made my day. I mean… erhm… I knew it would all work out. Yeah, that’s right… *cough*

Well, the whole letter didn’t go like I wanted it to go. I mean, she still can’t go. Bummer. Who knows, though? Maybe that month I worked on that letter won’t just be for nothing. I guess, you never know if you don’t try, right? On the plus side, I got to spend Saturday with her, which was awesome. It went by so fast, though! Man, and it started at like 3pm and went ’til, like, 10pm. It was fun! I’m looking forward to the weekend like I always do.

So, a few entries back I said something about going to a concert. Well, my girlfriend’s parents are divided. I mean, it’s on a school night, but I doubt that’s what the real issue is. Contrary to popular belief, it’s not me, either. See, her dad is fine with it. I think I’ve all but won him over. On the other hand, her mother is adamantly opposed. There was this concert (is the Van’s Warped Tour really a concert?) that she went to during the Summer, and she didn’t come home when she said she would. Needless to say, her mom was angry (no — I know what you’re thinking — I wasn’t there with her).

Up to this point, she can’t go. Whether you know it or not, my girlfriend is half Japanese on her mom’s side, so, when I found out that she couldn’t go, I started writing a letter to her mom, trying to persuade her… in Japanese. It’s taken me about a month, but it’s done now! I’m pretty proud that I was able to do it, but I’ll be ecstatic if it works! I mean, c’mon, if someone took the kind of steps I’ve taken, would you just slap them in the face? Well, maybe you would… Oh, man…

I just thought everyone should know that I’m depressed and in need of IMMEDIATE attention (consult the cloud-like bubble on the graph)! Oh, and I’m writing a paper for school on Scientology as it relates to the South Park episode “Trapped in the Closet.”
